TIRE STEEL SEPARATOR
Designed to efficiently remove steel wires from shredded rubber pieces, ensuring cleaner output for further processing or recycling.
A Tire Steel Separator is a machine used in tire-recycling systems to separate the steel wire from the rubber material. After tires are cut or shredded, the rubber pieces still contain strong steel wires (bead wires, belt wires). The steel separator removes these metals so the rubber can be processed further.
WHAT IT DOES
Separates steel cords/wires embedded in tire strips or tread sections
Produces cleaner rubber pieces with minimal steel contamination
Recovers high-strength steel wires for scrap recycling
Protects downstream machines (granulators, crushers) from damage
ADVANTAGES
More effective for coarse rubber (strips/blocks)
Removes large steel cords that magnets cannot pull out
Increases lifespan of shredders and grinders
Allows steel to be recovered in usable form
This machine can operate as a standalone unit or as part of a complete tire cutting and recycling system.
