BLOCK CUTTER
This machine slices whole or partially processed tires into uniform rubber blocks, making the material easier to handle, transport, or feed into shredders.
Block Cutter Machine is a machine used in tire recycling to cut tire strips into smaller rubber blocks (usually 50–150 mm). These blocks are the right size for feeding into shredders, crushers, or granulators.
It is the fourth step in most tire-recycling lines (after ring cutter → strip cutter).
WHAT IT DOES
Cuts long tire strips (produced by a strip cutter) into uniform blocks
Prepares rubber for shredding, crushing, or granulating
Reduces tire size for easier handling and faster processing
Produces consistent block sizes for smoother machine feeding
ADVANTAGES
Produces uniform blocks for smoother shredding
Reduces load and wear on shredders/granulators
Handles thick, heavy truck and OTR tire strips
Low operating cost and simple to maintain
This machine can operate as a standalone unit or as part of a complete tire cutting and recycling system.
