SLUDGE SCREW PRESS - is an industrial wastewater-treatment machine that removes excess water from sludge, making the sludge thicker, drier, easier to transport, and cheaper to dispose of or process.

The spiral stack sludge dewatered is a type of screw press dehydrator that eliminates the need for sedimentation.

By utilizing advanced multi-ring self-cleaning filtration technology instead of traditional screen filtration, the spiral stack dewatererd ensures continuous and stable sludge-water separation. It achieves efficient dewatering through powerful compression forces generated by the varying screw diameter and ptch, as well as the precise micro-gaps between the rotating and fixed things.

Through the combination of a spiral shaft and overlapping plates, the sludge is gradually dewatered by compression, achieving integrated thickening and dewatering in a single process, eliminating the need for pre-thickening equipment.

The filtration unit consists of alternating fixed and movable rings, with adjustable gaps (typically 0.5-2mm), which self-cleaning during compression to prevent clogging.

The main shaft operates at low speed (typically 2-5 RPM), resulting in low energy consumption, minimal wear and reduced noise. It enables continuous, fully automated operation, running 24/7 with automated sludge feeding, dewatering and discharge minimizing manual intervention.

With low power consumption (single-unit power typically 0.5-3 kW) it saves 30%-50% energy compared to belt filter presses. The dewatering performance is stable, producing sludge cakes with a moisture content of 75%-85% (adjustable based on sludge properties, making it east to transport.
